Company Overview

Based in Perth, Western Australia, Volt Resources Limited (“Volt”) is focused on the exploration and development of its wholly-owned graphite and gold projects in Tanzania and Guinea, as well as its 70% interest in the ZG Group in Ukraine.

The ZG Group Graphite Business operates a long life graphite mine and processing plant with nameplate capacity of up to 30,000 tonnes per annum, producing graphite products across the range and has the potential to significantly increase its high-value large flake production, as well as producing a high value “green” purified 99.5% TGC product. It is in close proximity to key markets with significant developments in Lithium-ion Battery (LIB) facilities planned to service the European-based car makers and renewable energy sector. The company has other existing and potential cash flow generating mineral products from the graphite mine, including the production of crushed rock (granite) for use in road construction and concrete as well as industrial grade garnet. The company has plans to produce battery anode material using the existing graphite production to become a fully integrated supplier to LIB cell makers based in Europe. Volt will also be able to leverage off the existing customer base and graphite product supply chains of the ZG Group in developing the Bunyu Graphite Project in Tanzania.

The Bunyu Graphite Project is the largest graphite resource in Tanzania, East Africa, and is being developed in two stages, with the feasibility study for Stage 1 completed in 2018 and the Stage 2 expansion based on a PFS that was released in 2016.

The Guinea Gold Projects consist of 3 projects named Kouroussa, Mandiana and Konsolon, covering an area of 388km2 in the richly mineralised Birimian Greenstone Belt in Guinea, West Africa.
